I always dreamed of my son going to college and becoming a doctor or a lawyer. After all, isn’t that what every parent dreams for their child? My son had a different path in mind for himself. It was very clear throughout high school that my son was very mechanically inclined. He tried college but realized that it was not for him. I admit that I was a disappointed when he left school. My son has since become a successful automobile mechanic and is very happy with his work. I have realized that my true dream for him has changed. It is now my dream that he is happy and successful in whatever career he chooses. I am very proud of my son, the mechanic.
