I know there has been a lot of debate and discussion in recent years on the topic of awards. Should awards always be earned and should they be given for participation alone? I totally understand the valuable lesson learned from having to earn a reward, but sometimes it’s nice to give our kids awards simply because we love them and think they are awesome.
