Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl, combine beans, appple, onion, bacon, and stir well.
In a separate bowl, combine barbecue sauce, maple syrup, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, dry mustard, salt, pepper and chili powder. Use a wire whisk to mix well. Pour the sauce over the bean mixture and stir to combine.
Pour into a 13-by-9-by-2-inch glass baking dish or an oven proof Dutch oven coated with vegetable cooking spray. Bake for 45 minutes, or until bubbly and heated throughout.
