  • Kosher salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 and 1/2 cups broccoli florets fresh or frozen
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2-3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 and 1/2 cups milk reduced-fat or whole
  • 3/4 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 10-12 ounces shredded white cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 cup breadcrumbs

  • Start boiling water: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook until almost al dente, about 2-3 minutes less than the package instructions. Add broccoli in the last minute of cooking.
