4 salmon fillets 6 ounces each 2 tablespoons olive oil 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 1 teaspoon dried herbs such as Italian seasoning or herbs de Provence 1 lemon sliced into rounds
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down.
Drizzle olive oil evenly over each fillet. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and dried herbs.
Top each fillet with a couple of lemon slices.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Serve immediately.
