- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup apple cider
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 Egg
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves sugar glaze
Preheat the oven to 350F.
Grease a doughnut baking pan.
In a mixer combine the flour, apple cider, brown sugar, egg, butter, baking soda, nutmeg, allspice, vanilla, ground cloves, and 1 tbsp cinnamon.
Mix until getting a thick batter.
Fill the doughnut pan with the batter.
Bake the doughnuts for about 15 minutes or until golden.
Take the pan and set aside to cool down.
When cool, remove the donuts with a rubber spatula.
Cover them with the glaze and sprinkle the remaining cinnamon.
Serve and enjoy.
Tip: If you're a chocolate lover, try substituting chocolate syrup for the glaze.
