Make adorable Bird's Nest Cookie Bowls! This fun recipe features sweet cookie cups filled with pink lemonade frosting, green 'grass,' & colorful jelly bean 'eggs'.

2 sticks 1 cup softened salted butter 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar 1 egg 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1 tablespoon vanilla 1/4 teaspoon salt To decorate: Twizzlers green apple "grass" licorice Any jelly beans Pillsbury pink lemonade frosting You will also need: Non stick cooking spray Cupcake pan Large mixing bowl Hand or stand mixer Small 8oz juice cup
Preheat your oven to 350°
Spray your cupcake pan with a nonstick cooking spray
Mix together your softened butter and granulated sugar in a large mixing bowl until you have a whipped Texture (about 3 minutes)
Now mix in your egg
Add your flour, baking soda, salt, and vanilla and mix until you have a thick cookie dough
Place a golf ball sized dough ball into each cupcake mold
Press your dough into the cupcake mold it and up onto the sides
Bake for 15 minutes
After your cookies are baked, use a small cup and press into the cookies to make a bowl shape
Let your cookies cool
Now fill your cookie bowls up with your pink lemonade frosting
Place your green apple grass Twizzlers inside the cookie bowls to look like a nest
Now top each cookie bowl with about five jellybeans and you’ve got yourself some cute Easter treats the kids will love making and eating!
