1packagecream cheese(8 ounces) at room temperature
1tubwhipped topping(16 ounces)
1cuppowdered sugar
1/2teaspoonvanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350℉ and line 2 12-hole muffin tins with paper liners.
In a medium bowl with a hand mixer or in a stand mixer, mix all ingredients for the cupcakes on medium speed until smooth and well combined.
Divide mixture over prepared muffin pan. Bake the cupcakes for 20 to 24 minutes or until toothpick inserted into cupcakes comes out clean. Allow to cool in the tins for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely, approximately 30 minutes.
To make the frosting, combine the softened cream cheese, whipped topping, powdered sugar, and vanilla in a bowl. Whisk until combined and light and fluffy. Spread or pipe over cooled cupcakes and serve.
