Grilled Honey Soy Glazed Pork Tenderloin

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound boneless pork tenderloin trimmed of fat
  • 1 inch knob fresh ginger peeled and grated
  • 3 TBS honey or agave
  • 1 TBS low sodium soy sauce

Instructions
 

  • Heat grill over medium heat. In a small bowl, mix ginger, honey, and soy sauce until combined. Place pork in a shallow dish and baste with honey mixture.
  • Brush oil onto grill, then place pork tenderloin onto grill; brush additional honey mixture onto pork, close grill and cook for 6 minutes. Brush with honey mixture again, flip pork over, brush top with honey mixture. Close grill and cook for 6-8 more minutes, or until center of pork reads 145 degrees on a meat thermometer.
  • Place on cutting board and let rest for 15 minutes. Slice into 1 inch pieces and serve immediately.

Notes

Pork can also made in a skillet if you do not have a grill available- cook over medium heat, on each side 7-8 minutes each. Check with meat thermometer for doneness.
