  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 green onions diced
  • 3 jalapeño peppers chopped finely
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3 1/2 cups sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • Kosher salt to taste
  • 1/2 pound elbow macaroni

Instructions
 

  • Melt butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Add green onions and jalapeños, sautéing for flavor.
