Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup dry macaroni pasta
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk of choice
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter optional
  • 1 tablespoon cream cheese optional

Instructions
 

  • Start by combining the pasta and water in a large microwave-safe bowl to prevent spills.

  • Microwave the mixture for 4-5 minutes until the pasta is nearly tender.

  • Drain excess water, then add milk, cheese, salt, and optional butter and cream cheese.
