Ingredients
  

  • 4 large eggs room temperature
  • 1 2/3 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 (15-ounce) can pure pumpkin purée
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt

For The Frosting:

  • 6 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 2 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons whole milk

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, oil, and pumpkin purée until smooth and well combined.

  • In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

  • Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the pumpkin mixture until just blended. Spread the batter evenly into an ungreased 15x10-inch baking pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.

  • For the frosting, beat the cream cheese, confectioners' sugar, butter, and vanilla extract in a bowl until creamy. Add milk as needed to reach a spreadable consistency.
