- 2 cups macaroni uncooked, equal to 1/2 lb.
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese shredded from a block
Shred the cheese from a block for better melting and flavor.
