DIY Easter Candy Jar

Easter Candy Jar

Easter Candy Jar

I love simple holiday projects, and this Easter candy jar couldn’t be any simpler. I think it would look so sweet as part of a tablescape, or as a lovely Easter gift for a friend or co-worker. The kids will adore these and have a lot of fun making them! I have tons of canning jars stashed around the house and love coming up with different ways to use them. There is something so adorable about crafts and recipes made in jars.

All you need to make these little cuties is a jar with a lid, Easter grass, a small chocolate bunny, and some candy coated chocolate eggs.  I also cut two circles from some pretty tissue paper to create a decorative top and ruffled edge. Simply place a small handful of Easter grass into the bottom of the jar, and put your candies into place. Place the tissue rounds on top of the jar and screw the lid into place. Easy peasy! What Easter crafts are going on at your house?

We have a bunch of canning jars also, and they keep on piling up as we use our stock. I usually make my own chocolate candies so this would just add to the fun. Thanks for the idea. Maybe I’ll have them on the Easter table for each of my kids and nieces.

  10. This is a great idea as someties the eater baskets are too small for smal toys. You could use a large jar and it would work

  11. Cute idea…and so easy to do! I am not sure how long a jar with a chocolate bunny inside would last in my house though. :)

This sounds like a great idea- my granddaughter is diabetic, so I will use sugarfree candy.

This gave me an idea about these. I save pickle jars and such and while I could use glass jars I’m having a large dinner on the 30th for Easter and don’t have enough jars, but I thought that I might be able to make these using those clear cellophane bags. I shall make 12 of them and put them on each plate as a dinner favor. I woul dnot have even given it a thought had I not seen this craft so thank you!

  16. That is SUPER cute! And I like that you can keep reusing the jar after you’re done.

  17. This is a cute one to make. Tho I missed it for this Easter time. Will keep the kids from touching the chocolate they can just look at it awhile LOL thanks for the idea

  18. I love the “Bunny In the Jar.” You could use this as part of the Kid’s Easter Basket, part of an Easter Egg Hunt, a Gift, the possibilities are endless. This is a very cute DIY for this coming Easter. Thanks for sharing.
