We still have some beautiful summer sun to soak in, but back to school starts here next week! As the kids get older, they are becoming very opinionated about what they wear. Not too long ago I was able to look at something and just know one of my granddaughters would like it, but that’s not the case anymore. I wouldn’t dare make that sort of assumption these days, except for that we are sure to find lots of great back to school fashions at P.S. from Aeropostale. Maddie loves just about everything in that store.
As P.S. from Aeropostale VIP Blog Ambassadors, my daughter Angela and I were provided with a gift card to aid in this review. As always, opinions expressed are our own. We genuinely love all the great clothes for kids at P.S. from Aeropostale!
We do a lot of our shopping online at ps4u.com, but recently dropped in at our nearby P.S. from Aeropostale store in Augusta to check out the new community board. Angela and I literally squealed with excitement when we saw our blog, About A Mom, listed up on the board. The community boards are a brand new feature in all P.S. from Aeropostale stores across the U.S. Each month the board will feature a different craft for the month, two ways to wear the same product, and collection inspiration along with a quote of the month! There will also be some upcoming features of the VIP Blog Ambassadors, and we are super excited about that.
Take a look at some of the fashions Maddie picked out for back to school!
kids’ long sleeve sheer boho peasant top | solid cami in white
dark wash core jeggings (regular)
Maddie has so many pairs of these jeggings. They are a perfect fit for her. She likes the comfort and ease of movement she has in them. These jeggings are perfect for active girls.
crochet skater dress in mint julep | glitter skinny belt
This dress is beautiful by itself, but I really like the added bit of bling from the glitter skinny belt.
cropped open-stitch drape cardi
For a completely different look, remove the belt and add this simple cropped cardigan.
The P.S. from Aeropostale graphic t-shirts are a staple of Maddie’s back to school wardrobe.
Remember the collection inspiration that I mentioned earlier? Here’s a sneak peek at the upcoming collection inspiration “raise the barre” that will be up on community boards later this month.
We came up with our own dance inspired look, and added a touch of bling with a bag – just like the inspiration look.
dance, dance, dance graphic t (in-store) | medium wash core jeggings
This t-shirt inspired Maddie to get a little silly and show off her dance moves. I couldn’t resist sharing these, although she is probably not going to be very happy with me for doing so.
We went nuts for this Kids’ Glitter Paillette Backpack, available in a variety of fun colors. It is both fashionable and functional!
Girls sizes 4-14 available at P.S. from Aeropostale
Boys sizes 4-14 available at P.S. from Aeropostale
Head to P.S. from Aeropostale for great styling tips like 2 ways to wear the same thing. It’s a great way to stretch the back to school budget! Have you gone back to school shopping yet?
We have already started school so our shopping is done. I love your pics, especially that first blouse.
She picked the cutest things for back to school. Congrats on being featured by the store!
I love their clothes. My oldest is not old enough to wear men’s clothes, but does not like the items from other stores that gear more towards younger kids, so this is perfect.
They have such cute clothing!
I love Aeropostale. They have the cutest things for kids! I also buy my sweats there. Love them!
I love love love that stripe skirt!! so so nice!!
Your granddaughter looks great in her new clothes! A great choice for back to school!
Those clothes are really cute. They have such a fun flair. I should take my son to get some new back to school clothes. He loves Aeropostle.
I want that boho top for myself. Cute stuff!
I love their clothes but my kiddo is still too small to wear them. They usually have some pretty good deal
We’ll be shopping next weekend. I kind of want that green (seafoam) dress for myself!
I like the crochet sweater dress a lot. Aeropostale makes a lot of cute clothes!
We haven’t done clothing yet, just the major stuff our daughter needed for her dorm room. Even though she’s a college freshman she’s tiny (like her mama!) and still fits the clothing at PS Aeropostale 😉 So she actually shops there quite a lot.
I shop there for my ten year old all the time. I absolutely LOVE their stuff.
I really like the clothes she picked out. She looks very cute. I am sure my 6yr old daughter would love to visit PS. LOL. What girl doesn’t LOVE to shop. Just saying.
I know Aero clothing is kind of for the younger crowd, but their mens shirts fit my Hubs better than any other brand out there.
I really like that blue dress! I would wear that!
I am in love with that dress! Love the way you mix and matched too – really helps stretch the dollar and the wardrobe!
So cute Aeropostale is one of my faves! I love their shirts and pants:) got some hoodies too so great!
I love all the pieces that she chose! pretty colors and that backpack is so sparkly and cute!!!!
I love the clothes, especially the pink sequined back pack! I would love one of those bags for me.
What great taste she has in clothes. My daughter is loving jeggings, too!
Oh all of the outfits look great and what a great model!
I still have a bit of shopping to do. That dress color is fantastic!
I loved Aeropostale as a teenager…and I still love them as an adult. I like the casual tops…I mostly wear them at the beach or gym.
As for Maddie…she is a natural born model. 🙂
I love all the clothes from Aeropostale. I can usually find a few items for myself too!
These are such cute looks! We are all done with shopping, and we have a boy, so I won’t get to pick any of these outfits.
All of these looks are adorable!
Super cute styles. My girls love PS from Aero. Love all that dance gear!!
What great look and style. I love all of these clothes but I think the dress is my favorite. It is darling.
Isa is just starting her school shopping – I will make sure we stop at Aeropostale to check out their cute styles.
I have to start back to school shopping, but I’m dreading it. These outfits are wicked cute though, I’ll have to add aeropostale to my list.
I just love that dress. That is pretty cool you were on their community board. You’re famous now!
Such cute styles to take you back to school. I like that backpack too, that’s very pretty!
I love that blue dress! Some of these styles are totally cool even for me ;D
Super cute outfits for your granddaughter. Her sparkly backpack is a winner too!
The mint shade of that dress is just beautiful! Your niece should really consider modeling. She looks like a natural.
We have yet to do our school supply shopping. Maddie made some great choices!
Love that peasant top! Looks like she got a great selection!
I absolutely love P.S. They make trendy, cute clothes without exposing skin every chance they get.
I love this store – they have great clothes. My older three are too old for it now, they shop at Aero (the reg. one) but my younger daughter will be there soon.
I like that blue dress on Maddie. My step-daughter would like this line of clothing.
I’ve always loved aeropostale growing up. I wish they had this P.S. line when I was even younger. The thing I love the most is that it doesn’t have the aero logo thrown all over it and the pieces are so cute!
What great outfits and I know my daughters would love the styles they offer. While my kids are required to wear uniforms to school, we still need items to wear during breaks, holidays and weekends.
My youngest loooves this store- she doesn’t feel ‘babyish’ but the clothes are still mostly age-appropriate. My older girl is so mad she doesn’t fit in PS clothes anymore! I am, too- most of the tween girl clothes really aren’t decent for someone that young.
