These simple clay Christmas ornaments are something that can be made to decorate your own tree. They can also be made to give as gifts to friends and family. They can be as simple or as elaborate as you would like. While we made these clay Christmas ornaments with just glitter, you can add in other things to make the ornaments more personal.

There are different types of clay that can be used to make these clay Christmas ornaments. Check to see if your cay needs to be baked or if it air dries.
While I can buy all the clay I need at the craft store, I prefer to order it online. It comes straight to my door and I can usually get a better price.

How to Make Your Own Clay Christmas Ornaments
Supplies:
Red modeling clay
Green modeling clay
White modeling clay
Mini Christmas cookie cutters
Gold Glitter
Lollipop stick
Ribbon for hanging
Small glass or rolling pin
Roll out clay onto a flat surface.
Cut out the clay with Christmas cookie cutters.
Make a hole at the top with the lollipop stick.
Press the glitter into the clay.
Let dry for a few days or bake as directed.
Feed ribbon through the hole and tie.
This is so easy. The girls can do this. Thank you for the idea and directions.
