Creating and Ice Cream Sundae Bar

Today, I’m partnering with the J.M. Smucker Company… one of my favorite sponsors! I recently went shopping at my local Walmart store to buy Smucker’s® Toppings and other ingredients for a build your own sundae bar. A sundae bar is one of my favorite party treats.

Update: I have had a few people ask about the galvanized tray and buckets used, so here is my Amazon link for the set that I purchased. It is actually this planter set that I decided to use for entertaining, instead of the garden. I also used 4 ounce wide-mouth mason jars for the candy toppings and sprinkles.

You know I just had to include some of my favorite Smucker’s Toppings. Smucker’s is so much more than the delicious jam you put on your PB&J. They have a fantastic line of ice cream toppings too that are perfect for summer entertaining or just a family dessert night.

Party time is fast approaching, so let’s go to the store!

My Walmart has a huge selection of Smucker’s ice cream toppings. They have the classics like hot fudge and caramel, even a sugar-free hot fudge.

Also, delicious marshmallow topping and fruit options like strawberry and pineapple.

If you’re feeling fancy, the Simple Delight toppings like Salted Caramel are sure to please. You can even get adorable little jars of walnuts in syrup for your ice cream too!

If you have younger kids, I highly recommend the squeeze bottles to minimize mess. Even if you don’t have little ones these are still great. The squeeze bottles fit perfectly on the refrigerator door.

While you’re at Walmart, you’ll also want to pick up things like paper products, sprinkles, maraschino cherries, and whipped cream. They have everything you need to build the ultimate sundae bar. Don’t forget the ice cream and other toppings like candy bars to chop up, and chocolate chips. You can never have too many toppings for your sundae bar!

Be sure to check back soon. I’ll be sharing just how I created my build your own #SundaeFundae sundae bar. It was such a huge hit with my friends and family!

Love this idea! I was just saying to my husband that we should do something like this for the kids instead of going for ice cream on Sundays. It would be less expensive.

I set up an ice cream sundae bar for my daughters birthday, and it was a big hit! Kids (and adults) have a great time customizing their own sundae, not to mention eating it!

I’m hosting an ice cream social with all of your suggestions, but I’m adding a couple of cans of Reddi-wip and cherries!
