“There is nothing more beautiful than sharing great food, conversation, and laughter with (another person).” -Francesco Bertolli
I’m so excited to share my #MangiaMoment with you.
I am so obsessed with Italian food and culture. I’ve watched the movie “Under the Tuscan Sun” with Diane Lane at least a dozen times. With the holiday season coming up, I am sure to be making some of my Italian favorites like pignoli nut cookies and lasagna. But sometimes I like to enjoy an Italian meal without so much fuss. That’s when I pull Bertolli meals for 2 out of the freezer. They are so delicious and perfect for those nights when just my daughter and I are having dinner together. Those nights when we just want to relax and enjoy a simple meal.
Don’t just eat. Mangia.
These meals are incredibly simple to prepare. Just 10 minutes in the skillet and you have a delicious Italian meal. I usually add some bread sticks and a salad for a complete meal.
This is Mangia. It means eat — the authentic Italian way. The Bertolli way.
I like to set the mood by placing tealights into a few jars. You can use canning jars or empty spaghetti sauce jars. I love the rustic look. The idea is to keep it simple.
Don’t set the table, set the mood. Don’t just make dinner, make memories.
Don’t forget some Italian wine. I love a good Chianti!
Bertolli meals for two are perfectly portioned for two people.
It’s so nice to end the day with a delicious Italian meal, laughing, and catching up with someone you care about.
Francesco Bertolli wanted to provide more than mere ingredients for meals. He sought to provide ingredients for robust meal experiences that awaken the senses, enliven conversations, and inspire us to be in the moment.
“This is Mangia. It means eat — the Italian way. The Bertolli way.”

I mania by having lots of pasta with red sauce and garlic bread. Surrounded by my family, it is one of my favorite meals.
My favorite Italian meal to make is lasagna. The kids love it.
Our Mangia Moment includes pasta, bread, a green salad and lots of fun conversation with my family!
ourmanfia moments are sunday night dinners. Pasta, garlic bread and salad. My boys favorite meal!
We love to serve up yummy pasta with salad and garlic bread and enjoy conversation and laughter
I do Italian by making lasagna a few times a year. I’d make it more often but it is kind of expensive the way I make it,
My fiance’ makes home made sauce in the crockpot..it is SO good!
I do Italian by trying to make pasta sauce just like my mom used to make. I love pasta and tomato sauce weekly.
OUR very best italian is making alfredo and mushroom sauce and italian bread. I’d love to have a romantic #MangiaMoment with my husband, but alas…we rarely get that time the past 24 years with 6 kids and I have been gluten free for about 5 years. Need to find some great gf recipes because for now, I mostly go without those delicious eats and “lady and the tramp” moments!
My Mangia Moment coincides with family night which involves homemade pizza, spaghetti & meatballs or lasagna. Italian night is always my favorite dinner.
