Ho Ho Ho! The time to host holiday parties and gatherings is upon us. The thought of that can be both exciting and frightening! It’s so nice to spread a little holiday cheer to friends, family, and co-workers. But then there’s the planning, the prep, the cooking, and the cleanup. What if holiday entertaining could be easy? About A Mom is working with CVS on a sponsored series this holiday season, to help make your holiday entertaining a little easier.

Easy Holiday Entertaining

It’s always nice to get an invitation to a holiday party! Last week we shared some holiday hostess gift ideas. Now we are sharing some tips for easy holiday entertaining.

You don’t have to spend hours in the kitchen preparing for a party. Just stop by your local CVS store and pick up some Gold Emblem snacks. An assortment of pretzels, nuts, cookies and candy are great by themselves or mixed in with a couple of homemade goodies.

Easy Holiday Entertaining with CVS

Ready made cookies like Gold Emblem Select Lemon Shortbread Cookies and Soft Baked Brownie Cookies with White Chocolate Chunks look lovely when displayed on a festive plate or platter. It’s in the presentation.

You can never go wrong with an assortment of nuts. Gold Emblem Select Cinnamon Honey Almonds and Honey Roasted Cashews are delightful.

Easy Holiday Entertaining with CVS Gold Emblem Snacks

Be sure to grab a big container of Gold Emblem Peanut Butter Filled Pretzel Nuggets. They get gobbled up fast by guests!

Don’t forget some holiday candy! We like the mixture of Gold Emblem Caramel Cremes, Peppermint Starlites, and Gold Emblem Select European Gourmet Chocolate Truffles.

Easy Holiday Entertaining Thanks to CVS Gold Emblem Snacks

Picking up some Gold Emblem snacks and sweets from CVS will allow you to spend less time in the kitchen, and more time with your guests. Be sure to also pick up some Total Home paper products while you are there, and save yourself some time washing dishes.

I don’t have a CVS near me but those are some great tips. I remember shopping at CVS with my card when I lived in NY. It was one of the pharmacy I missed when I moved here.

I’m just thankful I don’t have to stress about holiday planning this year. We’ve got enough on our plate right now. I do like simple and healthy snacks when I am required to bring something. That way I know there will be something I can eat.

These are great ideas. I don;t think anyone feels disappointed if the treats are not homemade and it is such a stress reliever.
