Feed a crowd or a hungry family with these slow cooker pulled pork sliders. Slow cooked for hours in a sweet and tangy sauce, this tender pulled pork is full of flavor. It’s deliciously seasoned with garlic, cider vinegar, honey and other seasonings.
On hot summer days like we have had recently, I avoid turning on the oven. Slow cooker pulled pork is one of my favorite go-to recipes. Asian pork, sloppy joe sliders, and mushroom lasagna are some of my other favorite slow cooker recipes.
Easy Slow Cooker Pulled Pork Sliders
serves 6+
Ingredients:
2 lbs boneless sirloin pork roast
1 medium onion, minced
1⁄2 cup beef broth
1⁄2 tsp cumin
1⁄2 tsp chili powder
1⁄4 tsp black pepper
1⁄4 tsp garlic powder
1 cup sweet and spicy BBQ sauce (or your favorite kind)
1 tsp agave or honey
1⁄4 cup apple cider vinegar
12 mini hamburger (slider) buns, or 6 regular buns
Directions:
1. Place the pork, onions, and broth into the slow cooker. Sprinkle the cumin, chili powder, black pepper, and garlic powder over the top; spread around the meat with your hands or a spatula. Cover and cook on low for 8-9 hours or high for 5-6 hours.
2. In a small bowl combine the BBQ sauce, agave/honey, and apple cider vinegar; set aside.
3. Remove cooked pork from slow cooker and shred using 2 forks. Remove remaining water from slow cooker, reserve the onions. Add pork and onions back to the slow cooker, then add the sauce mixture; stir to coat the meat.
4. Serve meat in the slider buns and enjoy!
Yummy! I would love to make some sliders this weekend. Looks like it would be perfect poolside with the family.
I like to use crockpot recipes in the summer to keep the kitchen cooler.

My son was just asking me to make some pulled pork – I’m going to try this recipe when I do. I don’t have to worry about not turning on the oven today though – our temperatures have dipped to 51 degrees!
I love eating pulled pork (mostly in the fall/winter months). This looks so good right now!
