Handing my child a basket overflowing with candy on Easter morning, that will have her hyped up for days, isn’t my idea of a good time. Easter baskets can be fantastic and fun without the sugar-overload. The basket my little girl is getting this year will have a few sweet treats, and a whole lot of fun toys and games. I have no doubt she is absolutely going to love it. I know I’m not alone on this, so I’m sharing some fun non-candy Easter basket ideas to help you avoid having sugar-crazed children this Easter. Post sponsored by Mirum but all opinions are my own.

I’ve compiled a list of more than 75 Easter basket ideas, along with some other fun Easter basket inspiration. I found all of the goodies for my 9-year old’s Easter basket at my local Walmart. They have some really cute stuff for Easter, along with some great non-candy snacks.
I hit the Easter display in the front of the store, then headed back to the craft, books, toy departments. Next, I went over to the snack isles where I picked up some of her favorite snacks like Slim Jim and Snack Pack pudding cups. The Slim Jim Gable Tops are a great addition to Easter baskets.

So many great ideas! Last year our little boy was only 2 months old but this year IM excited!
Fun ideas! Little toys make nice Easter basket surprises for little ones especially. It’s nice to read some ideas that are not candy too!
I love the sidewalk chalk and bubbles, coloring materials, and games! We are always looking for ideas that make them happy without all that cursed sugar!
I will be sure to pick up a few of these items to go in my grandchildrens baskets. The journal would be great for my oldest granddaughter. She is 10.
We much prefer to do other Easter basket ideas as well. I love how you got the teen years in there too! Teens are so darn picky
I love the one for outdoors. Kids are spending too much screen time these days that they don’t know how to have fun outside anymore. But the other Easter baskets are cute too!
My daughter loves jerkey or Slim Jims in her Easter Basket. She likes them in her Christmas Stocking too. 🙂
These are such fun Easter Basket ideas! I never know what to put in my children’s baskets but I’m loving the idea of putting not only chocolate!
