Looking for a simple ornament idea? Want a last-minute gift idea? This Hot Cocoa Mix Ornament is a fun way to make ornaments for the tree. Make extras and have your holiday guests take one home with them. These work as a fun DIY gift idea as well.

Hot Cocoa Mix Ornament

I love making ornaments for the tree. Over the years, we have made a lot of different ones. I created a round-up of them a while back so you can see them all in one place.

These ornaments are great to give as gifts to friends and family or make a bunch for the tree and every time someone wants hot chocolate, pull it down and make a cup.

Easy and Inexpensive Gift Idea

Homemade gifts are always appreciated. I love simple DIY gifts like this Snowman Soup. If you do decide to give these cute ornaments as a gift, you are going to love how inexpensive it is to make. These clear ornaments can be gotten very inexpensively and to make the hot chocolate mix, it is very basic. With only a few ingredients, it costs much less than one traditional gift and you can make lots. These make cute hostess and teacher gifts as well.

On these printable gift tags, it tells the person who receives the hot cocoa mix ornament exactly how to make it. Simply print them out, cut and use a hole punch to attach it. You can add the tag to a string and tie it on the ornament, or if there is a way to remove the metal hanger on the ornament, simply add it there.
