Have you ever noticed how competitive some school moms can be? They’re always trying to outdo each other to see who can pack the best bento lunch or bring in the fanciest birthday cupcakes. The competition really heats up in February, when we all want to see who can come up with the most creative Valentine’s Day treat bags . Okay, I’m kidding… kinda. You see, I’ve been a wee bit guilty of this myself throughout the years.
I know you busy moms out there are probably wondering how the heck you’re supposed to find time to make personalized treat bags. You might just be surprised by how simple it can be to create something very special and super cute.
Only a few supplies are needed to create the treat bags I have pictured, and they were very inexpensive to make. All of the supplies I used, except for the treat bags, were picked up at my local dollar store. If you don’t have the clear plastic treat bags, you could easily use snack-size zipper bags. It would be just as cute!
Teddy Grahams would be great for this project, but I opted for the generic version from my local dollar store to keep the cost down.
To keep it quick and easy, I created a simple printable gift tag. There are 8 tags per page. (If you choose to share my printable on your own blog, I ask that you link directly to this page, and not the printable. Thanks!)
Valentine’s Day Treat Bags
Supplies Needed:
Small plastic treat bags
Ribbon
Bear shaped cookies
Small rubber bands or twist ties
Valentine gift tags (printable)
You’ll also need scissors and a one-hole punch for this project. There really aren’t any instructions to provide. Simply, place a small handful of bear cookies into the bag, and secure with a small rubber band or twist tie. Use a piece of ribbon to tie on the gift tag.
