Many students had some degree of learning loss last school year and are still struggling. There is a free online tutoring resource called Paper that may be available through your child’s school. I recently learned that virtual tutoring from Paper is available to students in grades 6 through 12, in my Florida school district.
This post is sponsored by Paper. However, the enthusiasm and opinions shared are all my own. Paper is such a valuable tool for students, parents, teachers and administrators!
Free Online Tutoring through Paper
Helping your child with homework or doing DIY tutoring can be very time consuming for parents and at times, even stressful. If you live in a school district where Paper is offered, there is help! Paper provides learners with unlimited 24/7 homework help, writing feedback and study support. If your child is in quarantine, or just amid the regular flow of school assignments, this can be such a valuable resource.

Paper provides secure online tutoring to middle and high school students with unlimited, 24/7 academic support. Students can utilize Paper with a computer, laptop or mobile phone. They make it very accessible and easy to use. For example, students can use text messaging to ask questions and send screenshots. If your middle school or high school student needs assistance catching up during or after quarantine, this is a game changer!
Is your child’s math homework stressing you out? Helping our children with homework can be time-consuming and even frustrating. I’ve learned through personal experience, that my middle school student is more receptive to learning when the teacher or tutor is not one of her parents. Now, we can get instant help from an expert for any homework problem, large or small.
Having good writing and communication skills is key to success. Paper provides comprehensive feedback for essays and writing projects that helps develop strong writing skills.
Paper provides expert coaching that makes it easier for students to grasp new concepts. Good study skills are integral to successful learning. Recently, I learned that my daughter didn’t feel confident in her note taking abilities and helping her with that skill has made a world of difference in her ability to study more effectively at home.
Paper is available to Hillsborough County Students!
I was so excited to receive an email from Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) announcing that a free tutoring service was being offered. If you are a parent or Guardian in Hillsborough County and missed that announcement, you’ll be glad to know that free 24/7 on-demand tutoring through Paper available to students in grades 6 through 12 who are enrolled in Hillsborough County Public Schools.
That’s right! Students in grades 6 through 12 who attend HCPS now have unlimited, on-demand access to free academic support. Simply sign into Clever and click the Paper icon to get started. Since I have an 8th grader in HCPS, I am super excited about this – especially since algebra is something I am not so good at. We’ve used it for math and found it very helpful. They provided ways to think about the concepts and helped with problem solving.
