Over the last few weeks I have been sharing different tips with you from Team Kellogg’s. There have been tips that will help you mix things up a bit like Cereal Freestyle and Snacking After Dark, along with fun energy filled snacks to help fuel active families. I’m excited to share one final tip with you – Tip #30: Eat, Train, and Compete with Team Kellogg’s! You can visit Kelloggs.com/GreatStartsTips to see all 30 great starts tips. It’s interesting to see what foods and activities help the amazing athletes of Team Kellogg’s stay strong and fit.
Print this fun guide to the athletes of Team Kellogg’s to get to know a little about them and cheer them on to #GreatStarts and Gold Medals. You and your kids can even add yourselves to the team. How fun is that?!
How does my family match up with Team Kellogg’s?
Eat
Favorite Breakfast and Snacks? Everyone in my family seems to have a different preference when it comes to breakfast and snacks. Having an assortment of Kellogg’s cereals and cereal bars on hand makes it easy to fuel my hungry athletes. Popular choices around here include: Kellogg’s Raisin Bran, Kellogg’s Frosted Mini Wheats, and Kellogg’s Apple Jacks cereals. I also like keeping a bowl of fresh fruit on the counter for a great grab and go snack.
Train
We do all sorts of training. Becca and Maddie go to tumbling class and cheer practice twice a week. My grandson uses his gym membership to work out after class. Mom, Dad and Grandma stay so busy chauffeuring these kids around. Then there’s me… I have been going for walks with my daughter in the afternoon, trying to set a good example for my family to live a healthy lifestyle.
Compete
We don’t have any award winning alpine skiers, snowboarders or ice dancers in the family, but two of my granddaughters are amazing competition cheerleaders. My grandson, Nathaniel, is a very talented musician and his cousin Austin is so great at bowling. My oldest granddaughter, Tabi, is good at anything she does, and my grandson, Sid, can fix just about anything. He’s very mechanically inclined. I am so proud of my amazing talented family!
It was fun adding my own family to Team Kellogg’s. It got me thinking about everyone’s favorite breakfast food and snacks, and how we are alike and so different when it comes to food preferences. It’s always good to take note of what each of us is doing to stay active and fit, and make sure we’re not getting lazy. We might not be award winning athletes, but I think my family is a nice addition to Team Kellogg’s. It’s been great fun writing this post and acknowledging my family’s many achievements. I’m so proud of this bunch!
How does your family eat, train and compete? Any similarities to Team Kellogg’s?

We do eat and train although I don’t believe we compete any longer.
Our family tries to eat a healthy, balanced diet. We exercise regularly at the gym and try to keep the kids involved in sports activities as well. They were on the swim team until the team started having issues and we pulled them. We need to find another swim team we’re happy with!
We try to eat as healthy as possible but we also let ourselves indulge every now and then. We train, well, my 5 year old is in Basketball and will soon start T-Ball; my 4 year old just loves to climb and run around (plus they both love to use their scooters all day long); my husband and I walk a lot and work out at home. Compete….does playing UNO and Monopoly count? At least Monopoly does, right?!
this whole great starts campaign is just so much fun. i love it. your team looks fabulous!
There’s a lot of talent on your Kellogg’s team! Love the cheerleading photo! My daughter is a cheerleader too! 🙂

Love Kelloggs, it’s a staple in our home!
We try to eat as best as we can, make good decisions and try to get out and active.
