This fun Popcorn Cake recipe is made with popcorn and candy and is such a great treat to make and get the kids involved in the kitchen. It is a wonderful mix of so many flavors. This treat is crunchy and sweet and requires few ingredients. Your family and friends are sure to fall in love and have so much fun making it. Be sure to write this one down!
How Do I Keep This From Getting Stale?
It is simple to keep this popcorn cake from getting stale. You want to make sure you wrap it well with plastic wrap. I like to then place it in an airtight container as well.
What Candies Can Decorate a Popcorn Cake?

Ingredients
- 4 quarts (16 cups) popped popcorn
- 1 pound Reese’s Pieces
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 (1 lb) package marshmallows
How to Make a Kids Popcorn Cake
In a saucepan, melt butter or margarine.
Mix in oil and marshmallows.
Stir until marshmallows are melted.
Pour mixture over popcorn, candy, and nuts.
Mix well (this is a great time for the kids to get involved) and press into greased springform pan. Ready to eat!

POPCORN CAKE RECIPE
Ingredients
- 4 quarts 16 cups popped popcorn
- 1 pound Reese's Pieces
- 1/2 cup dry roasted peanuts optional
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 lb package marshmallows
Instructions
- In a saucepan, melt butter or margarine.
- Mix in oil and marshmallows.
- Stir until marshmallows are melted.
- Pour mixture over popcorn, candy, and nuts. Mix well (this is a great time for the kids to get involved)
- Press into greased spring form pan. Ready to eat!
