Pumpkin ice cream pie recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup canned pumpkin
  • 1 quart vanilla ice cream, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 9-inch graham cracker crust

Instructions:

Step 1: Mix first 6 ingredients. Pour into shell. Garnish with pecans if desired. Freeze overnight. Serve with whipped cream if desired.

Step 2: Pumpkin ice cream pie is easy enough for the kids to make and will be enjoyed by the whole family.

    Now this is perfect for the kids! I get nervous when I see recipes “for kids” that involve the oven or stove, even with adult supervision. And all you do is mix and freeze it – what could be easier? Thanks for this one, it’s a keeper for all year long!
