Roasted Green Beans and Mushrooms with balsamic is a fresh and delicious side dish, and the perfect accompaniment to your Thanksgiving turkey. When it comes to holiday cooking I tend to opt for dishes that are made with fresh ingredients and are simple to prepare. This roasted green beans and mushrooms side dish fits the bill. Many thanks to Best Buy and Samsung for sponsoring today’s recipe and supporting this blog.
Like many of you, I grew up eating green bean casserole for Thanksgiving and Christmas. You know, the one with the crispy onions on top. In more recent years I’ve tried to get away from recipes that include cream of soups, and have been cooking with more fresh ingredients. Don’t get me wrong. I do still enjoy the occasional green bean casserole, but it’s this roasted green beans and mushrooms dish that will be gracing my table this Thanksgiving. As I prep for the holidays, I gave this recipe a trial run over the weekend and it is oh-so tasty.
This recipe couldn’t be any simpler. You just toss all the ingredients in a bowl, spread onto a baking sheet and let your oven do all the work. Be sure to read down to the bottom of this post for the recipe.
In addition to having the right ingredients, I’ve learned that it’s important to have the proper tools when prepping for the holiday. This past June I told you about my new Samsung Flex Duoâ„¢ Slide-In Electric Range with Dual Door and WiFi Connectivity. You can read my full product review here. I have fallen even more in love with this range since then. It made the move from Georgia to Florida with me, and it fit seamlessly into my new kitchen.
Hands down my favorite feature of the Samsung Flex Range is the Flex Duo Oven with Dual Door. The oven includes two independent temperature controls and convection systems that are separated by a removable Smart Divider. You can choose between the upper or lower oven, or can choose to use the whole oven.
I use the heck out of the upper oven. It’s perfect for baking casseroles and heating up frozen pizzas. This holiday season I’ll be baking my pies and side dishes in the upper oven, while my turkey is roasting on the bottom at a different temperature. How awesome is that?!
It’s really nice to not have to heat up the whole oven. Something I’ve really come to appreciate living in Florida.
The Samsung Flex Duo Slide-In Range With Dual Doors and Wifi Connectivity will have you on your way to entertaining like a pro this holiday season. In fact, visit the Best Buy Major Appliance Top Deals Page to find great deals on it and many other appliances.

Green beans are my jam! This looks delish
I wish I would’ve saw this before I did my menu planning for this week! Next week I’m totally making us as one of my sides. It looks so good.
These are two of my favorite vegetables in one dish. This would make a great side for Thanksgiving.
You know what? This is just perfect… we were just discussing how sick we are of the same old food for the holidays. I totally need to try these. Thanks for sharing
I want to make this for Thanksgiving. Must pin this recipe.
Those look amazing! I’ll have to give them a try real soon. I’m not a fan of mushrooms though, so I’d probably leave those out.
I love fall foods like this! I cannot believe Thanksgiving is already next month!
