Summer is packed with so many fun things to do and places to go. And whether that means family road trips, beach days with a babysitter, camps or everything in between, you know you have to pack the kinds of snacks that keep everyone happy during all these adventures. After a very busy couple of months of summer fun and travel, a staycation seemed like the perfect way to wind down our summer break. Make that a staycation with some really great snacks aka SNACKATION!

I partnered with the J.M. Smucker Company for this sponsored post to share my summer snackation ideas. I found everything I needed for my snackation at Walmart.

Summer Snackation Ideas

A few days of easy going fun close to home is just what we needed after a busy summer.

We have enjoyed watching movies, trips to the park, playtime in the pool and some outdoor reading. Some great leisurely fun, paired with delicious snacks.

My granddaughter could spend all day, every day at the park.

An afternoon at the playground works up an appetite. Check out some of my summer SNACKATION ideas:

Food + Fun

A fun day at the park or the pool calls for some yummy snacks. Smucker’s Fruit Fulls and Jif to Go Dippers are a favorite of ours for snacking on-the-go.

We love spending the morning outdoors with a good book and a good snack, before it gets too hot outside.

Have you tried Jif Whips yet? It’s such a yummy treat! My family likes to eat Jif Whips with apple wedges, celery sticks, graham crackers and more. The possibilities are endless.

I like to pull out some Uncrustables in the morning to thaw, for the perfect quick lunch.

Summer Snackation Ideas

Summer break is coming to an end soon and it is bitter sweet. We are looking forward to the school year ahead, but until then we’ll be squeezing every bit of fun we can out of summer.

What snacks do your children or grandchildren enjoy?

If you’re looking for some delicious snacks for your own SNACKATION, just drop by your local Walmart store and stock up.

Great ideas! Those sandwiches look awesome. I’ve never seen them before. Wish we still had jif here, haven’t seen it since I was a kid!

No kids to buy snacks for as I do not have children but all of these look great to have around for when my niece and nephews are over!

I have had the Jif Whip and loved it–just the right amount to hold you over until a regular meal time. Never heard of Uncrustables-will have to look for them and try them out.

Graham crackers are still one of the top snacks, especially when we’re on the go. I try to keep seedless grapes and low-sugar cookies on hand for “gotta have a snack” moments.

The Jiff dippers and crackers win the kids’ hearts every time. Gives them the energy and protein to keep them going.
