The Big Toy Book Sweet Suite Event was one of the highlights of my BlogHer Conference trip this year. There were so many fabulous toy companies represented including XBox 360. For my family XBox 360 is all about games, games, and more games. During the Sweet Suite Event I learned that we could be using our XBox 360 Kinect game system for so much more. Turns out, it’s not just for the kids entertainment! XBox 360 has a lot to offer to us moms too!
XBox 360
1. I can use Xbox LIVE to play my favorite YouTube videos and even watch Netflix. All-you-can-watch Nicholas Sparks movies and talking dog videos after the kids are in bed – sign me up!
2. Next month, they’re introducing 2-way TV experiences with Sesame Street and Nat Geo shows so I can finally trick my kids into learning while they watch their favorite TV shows!
3. With “Nike+ Kinect Training,” I can get my sexy back in my living room, and the virtual trainer who coaches my every move won’t call me out for wearing the same yoga pants three days in a row.
4. Xbox LIVE is packed with streaming and archived sports, even Olympic highlights!
5. On August 5, I can watch the live Mars Rover landing with my family on Xbox LIVE.
6. With “Nike+ Kinect Training,” I can get my sexy back in my living room, and the virtual trainer who coaches my every move won’t call me out for wearing the same yoga pants three days in a row.
7. My personal favorite…I can set up my Xbox to only show the content I approve for my kids. I am the controller after all.

I’m an Xbox owner ever since KINECT came out about 2 yrs ago. WE LOVE IT and did you also know you can play games with people around the world on XBOX live. There are so many genre’s available in gaming that its fun for the whole family!!

I had no idea you could do so much with the XBox 360! It’s awesome how many features are coming available on gaming consoles today – totally makes it worth the money you spend on them!
I so need to use our Xbox more! Right now ours is unplugged because the kids got in trouble. Maybe I should take it over to workout instead of heading to the gym at 4:30 am.
