All the wonderful flavors of chocolate cake in a milkshake. Do you ever wish it were somebody’s birthday just so you can have cake and ice cream? I can’t possibly be the only person who does that. Chocolate cake with chocolate icing is my favorite! Yesterday when I spotted the carton of Chocolate Milk in the fridge, I started craving some chocolate birthday cake and decided to whip up a Triple Chocolate Cake Batter Milkshake to satisfy that craving.

Mmmm. That was so good. It really hit the spot and couldn’t be any simpler to make. I made this on-the-quick but think it would be even better served in some fancy milkshake glasses and topped with some whipped cream.
This ice cream treat is so good and ranks right up there with my ice cream sandwich cake and grilled peach ice cream recipe.
Want to see how I made it? I’m warning you though. This milk shake is super chocolatey!
Ingredients:
chocolate Milk
chocolate cake mix
chocolate ice cream
Sprinkles
How to Make a Chocolate Cake Batter Milkshake
First, pour the chocolate milk into the blender. You don’t want to add the cake mix first, otherwise it will clump to the bottom of the blender.
Add the cake mix, then the ice cream. Blend until smooth.
Next, add some SpriNKles. Lots of them. Don’t be stingy. Pulse the blender once, just to get them incorporated. You don’t want them pulvarized.
Pour into a glass, garnish with a few additional SpriNKles, and enjoy.
This cake batter milkshake can be made a number of different ways. Just choose your favorite cake mix.

I would prefer the chocolate flavor. This would be my version of your recipe: “Mounds Shake”: 1 cup Tru Moo Chocolate milk, 2 scoops Sugarfree Fudge Chocolate Icecream, 1 cup Unsweetened Almond & Coconut milk. 2 level tablespoons “Thix” liquid thinkener (available at Walgreens): Blend as above, place in Fridge for 5 min. Pour and serve.
We drink TruMoo regularly in our household. The one flavor I want to try that isn’t available in my area, is the Chocolate Marshmallow variety.
I am most excited about the chocolate. my husband and kids love chocolate milk and I like that this one is healthier the others.
