Get your skillet and whatnot. You’re soon to be eating spoiled-brat style – your favorite jammies, these yummy Tuna Patties, and House of the Dragon!

Tuna Patties

I have a long-standing and very enmeshed relationship with condiments of all kinds. And I’m not real discerning or stuck-up about them, either. I like them allllllll. Be it ketchup, mustard, ranch dressing, barbecue sauce, mayonnaise, or, say, bleu cheese and bacon flavored taco sauce I’m like – “Yes, please, and, please add extra – and please don’t forget my pickles!” – for just about any sandwich offered me home or away. Yeah. I get all sweet and stuff for condiments. It’s the first drive-thru booth that matters, after all. By the time you get to the second, you can go back to fiddling with the stereo.

And I like tuna patties because a. they taste fantastic and b. they taste even more fantastic dipped in every single thing.

Why Tuna Patties Are About To Be in Big Demand at Your Place

There’s no one I’ve ever met on this planet Earth who doesn’t give a grateful ‘Yes, please and thank you!’” to the question “Would you like a tuna fish sandwich?” Male or female, young or old, everyone loves a good tuna fish sandwich on white bread. And people tend to have the same enthusiasm for salmon patties as well. Some just don’t eat them with as many condis as I do

But it might not have occurred to you to use canned tuna to make a patty like people make salmon patties! So mix it up a lil’ bit with your skillet. You don’t have to be that gal who serves the same ole thing all the time. Be this gal and have a delicious dinner done in 14 minutes, and enjoy these flavors here that just make me feel all homebody-ish and like a pampered pet all curled up and tended to.

And these affect everyone the same way. I know this because my clients have them on weekly order – all of them – and I couldn’t be more happy about that because that means I have work. And I can serve this knowing it will be a dish that will keep my clients happy and keep that word-of-mouth a-spreading.

P.S. I like these for breakfast, too. And I get real condiment-y with that because Hollandaise is wonderful on these! Dee-licious! This gives me a great idea for tuna patties eggs Benedict. I’ll keep you updated!

How to Make Ahead and Store

These will keep surprisingly well in the refrigerator as leftovers for 3 to 4 days. You can freeze these baked but, because they contain both raw eggs and mayonnaise, you cannot freeze them unbaked. Food preparation guidelines for this are to flash-freeze them on a cookie sheet for 15 minutes and then vacuum seal in freezer-safe bags or press all the air out of your freezer bags and stack them deep as you want in family or single portions.

Serving Suggestions

I love to serve this with something saucy and delicious to dip tuna patties into – and that leaves me all kinds of wiggle room. If cheese is your thing, you’ll love these with Creamy Mac and Cheese. If you feel like playing crunch against crunch, you can’t get crunchier and more restaurant-quality onion rings than these Air Fryer Onion Rings. I give those five of whatever stars go above Michelin’s, btw. And why not a great, creamy salad with these, too, so you can dunk your rings and patties in mac and cheese and some yummy ranch dressing from this Layered Bacon, Ranch, and Tomato Salad. And I cannot think of a better complement to all these flavors than this oh-so-delicious and easy-to-make Cherry Crumble. God bless you and keep your mouth wide open. More good food – and writing about food, is on the way!

I found them to be dry when prepared according to the recipe. Next time I will cut the bread crumbs down to 5 tablespoons and go from there. Otherwise I enjoyed the patties.
