- 2 5-ounce cans tuna in water, well drained
- 1 large egg
- 10 tablespoons breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
In a mixing bowl, combine drained tuna, egg, breadcrumbs, onion, mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
Mix ingredients gently until well combined.
Divide the mixture into four equal parts and shape each into a compact patty.
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Place patties in the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
Serve the patties hot with your choice of sides or sauces.
