Take party nights up a level with this delicious White Queso Dip!

The wonderful thing about a really, and I mean, really good white queso dip, is that hot, melted white-yellow cheese, all silken and infused with warm-your-mouth-and your-belly spices. It tastes so good that sometimes, for me, simply nothing else will do. Plus, a ladle of that spicy, hot, delicious cheese complements just about anything you ladle it on, from mashed potatoes to a Buffalo chicken wing!

Thinking of serving a taco casserole? Well, nothing would make that casserole more next-level amazing than some of this gooey, delicious, cheesy sauce just spooned all over it. Having a taco salad? Who needs dressing—like, at all—if you’ve got a drizzle of this steaming-hot and spicy cheese to just blanket that salad in cheesy, saucy, warm, deliciousness?

White queso dip, for those special family moments

Making queso dip always attracts everyone to the kitchen. I think it’s the delicious smell of cheese being melted and swirled around with other yummy things like half and half, butter, and warm spices that must do it.

“What are you making, Wonna?” ask two identical three-year-old twins, in scary unison.

“I’m making you and your family a delicious Mexican feast! That means it will include alllllll kinds of yummy things!”

As I poured some of my white queso dip from my sauté pan into my service crock, all I heard were gasps, oooohs, and ahhhhhs and one word that went something like, “what’sthatyummystuff?”

“That, my dears, is called white queso dip … It’s like liquid gold in a bowl, it’s so good.”

How do I store leftovers?

You can keep leftovers of this dip for up to 3 or 4 days in the fridge if you put it in an airtight container or wrap it tightly with plastic wrap. To reheat, just nuke it in the microwave in 30-second intervals until it’s bubbly and ready for you to enjoy it again. Unfortunately, this dip does not freeze well.

Serving suggestions

I love serving this delicious white queso with so many things, I really don’t know where to start. First, I already mentioned how good Buffalo wings taste dipped in this dip; ditto on these Buffalo Cauliflower Wings. Also, drizzle some queso over this Bacon-Ranch Layered Salad. Next, nothing is better than a Caprese Pizza, dipped into some good white queso dip. Why? Well, that fresh mozzarella, basil, and tomatoes on there just taste so good drenched in this spicy white cheese sauce.
