Ingredients
  

  • 3-4 pounds beef roast frozen
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 large onion sliced
  • 3 large garlic cloves minced
  • 1/2 tablespoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 sprig fresh thyme
  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary

Instructions
 

  • Place the frozen beef roast in the inner pot of the Instant Pot.

  • Add beef broth to the pot.
  • Sprinkle kosher salt and black pepper over the roast.
  • Add sliced onion, minced garlic, thyme, and rosemary around the roast.

  • Secure the lid of the Instant Pot and set the valve to the sealing position.

  • Set the Instant Pot to cook on high pressure for 100 minutes.
  • After cooking, allow the pressure to release naturally for 20 minutes, then manually release any remaining pressure.
  • Remove the roast from the Instant Pot, and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing or shredding.
