3-4 pounds beef roast frozen 1 cup beef broth 1 large onion sliced 3 large garlic cloves minced 1/2 tablespoon kosher salt 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper 1 sprig fresh thyme 1 sprig fresh rosemary
Place the frozen beef roast in the inner pot of the Instant Pot.
Add beef broth to the pot.
Sprinkle kosher salt and black pepper over the roast.
Add sliced onion, minced garlic, thyme, and rosemary around the roast.
Secure the lid of the Instant Pot and set the valve to the sealing position.
Set the Instant Pot to cook on high pressure for 100 minutes.
After cooking, allow the pressure to release naturally for 20 minutes, then manually release any remaining pressure.
Remove the roast from the Instant Pot, and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing or shredding.
