Last year I did some extreme dieting. My heartburn flared up horribly. Fortunately, I was introduced Omeprazole ODT last spring and they made a world of difference for me. With this heartburn relief I can now I can enjoy things like these Cinnamon Sugar Almond Rolls. This not-so-guilty recipe is only 5 Weight Watchers points per serving!
In a medium bowl, using a pastry cutter or your fingers, combine butter, almond extract, sugars, cinnamon, salt and flour until a coarse crumbs crumbs.
On an ungreased cookie sheet, roll out dough. Sprinkle with crumb mixture.
Roll into a log and wrap with wax paper.
Place in freezer for about 30-45 min to firm up.
Remove from freezer and cut into rolls. Place in 9in baking dish.
In a bowl, combine icing ingredients and stir until smooth. Pour evenly over rolls.
Bake at 400 degrees for 8-12 minutes, until golden on top.
