If you started off the new year swearing off alcohol, chocolate and bread you’re not alone.

Glazed Not-So-Guilty Cinnamon Sugar Almond Rolls on a white plate, with a baking dish.

It’s the time of the year when many of us find ourselves trying out different diets in an effort to lose weight and meet our New Year’s resolution to get healthier. If you are a frequent heartburn sufferer like me, these changes in diet can wreak havoc on your stomach which is why now is the perfect time to talk with you again about Omeprazole Orally Disintegrating Tablets (also referred to as ODT). I also have a not-so-guilty cinnamon sugar almond rolls recipe to share with you. YUM. There’s a lot going on here today!

In addition to having a history of frequent heartburn, I also have a long history of yo-yo dieting, and have tried it all from fasting to Weight Watchers and the ketogenic diet. Dieting has never been easy for me. I have often felt deprived, had low energy, and some serious issues with my digestive system. Heartburn is something I have struggled with for most of my adult life, but when I make major changes in my diet… ai yai yai.

Last year I did some extreme dieting. My heartburn flared up horribly. Fortunately, I was introduced Omeprazole ODT last spring and they made a world of difference for me.

Heartburn can interrupt your daily life, and make you very uncomfortable.

Bad heartburn is no joking matter. That burning pain that rises up in your chest can be extremely uncomfortable. It gets even worse if you bend over or lie down. There’s no sleeping this discomfort away. Luckily, Omeprazole Orally Disintegrating Tablets are available over-the-counter. In fact, I order Basic Care Omeprazole ODT right online at Amazon. The strawberry flavor is very pleasant and this brand is also affordable. Plus, you all know how I love the convenience of shopping online! Heartburn can interfere with your way of life, and keep you from doing the things that you enjoy… But it doesn’t have to.

Omeprazole ODT is intended for frequent heartburn sufferers (2 or more days a week). When you are suffering from heartburn, the last thing you want to do is swallow something, even a pill. Omeprazole ODT dissolves quickly on your tongue to provide long lasting heartburn relief, for up to 24 hours. Use as directed for 14 days to treat frequent heartburn (occurring 2 or more days a week). Although some may experience relief in the first 24 hours, it may take 1-4 days for full effect. Not intended for immediate relief.

If you’re a heartburn sufferer, you can still indulge. In my experience, giving yourself those occasional indulgences can go a long way in helping you stick to a diet for the long term. I have the perfect, rewarding treat for those occasions and it isn’t going to make you feel too terribly guilty. My friend Marissa does Weight Watchers and says that these Cinnamon Sugar Almond Rolls are just 5 Weight Watchers points. Seriously!! So, I hope you enjoy these my friends and don’t beat yourself up over it.

I want to try making these but you don’t mention what kind of dough. Is it pie, biscuit, crescent, or cinnamon roll dough?

Hi Veronica! I can’t believe I left that off. So sorry! It’s the crescent dough. Updating the recipe right now. I hope you enjoy!
