1 1/2cupscups BBQ sauceany type (I like sweet & spicy)
1/2teaspoononion powder
1teaspoonpaprika
1garlic cloveminced
1/4salt
1/4teaspoonblack pepper
Whole wheat rolls or buns
Instructions
Add onion, beer, BBQ sauce, onion powder, paprika, garlic, salt, and pepper to slow cooker; whisk slowly to combine (the beer may get really frothy here it’s okay). Add the chicken and spoon the sauce over the top. Cover and cook on low for 7 hours or high for 5 hours.
Remove chicken from slow cooker, and using 2 forks shred the chicken. Add back to the slow cooker and stir chicken into sauce. Spoon about 1⁄2 cup of chicken into buns and serve immediately!
