1/2cuphot chili pepper sauceor your favorite hot sauce
1/4cuphoney
1/4cupbalsamic vinegar
1teaspooncumin
1teaspoonpaprika
1/2teaspoonred pepper flakes
juice from 1/2 a lime
2dozen bone-in chicken wingsthawed
Instructions
Whisk together the first seven ingredients. Set aside.
Boil wings at a low simmer for 5 to 8 minutes. Drain and gently pat wings to dry. Place wings in bowl with the marinade and toss to coat well, cover with plastic wrap. Marinate at room temperature for 30 minutes to one hour or up to 24 hours in the refrigerator.
Place wings on grill over low, direct heat. Grill 4 to 5 minutes per side, or to desired crispness and char. During the first few minutes of grilling baste with leftover marinade, if desired.
