Easter Bunny Silhouette DIY Home Decor

It’s not necessary to go out an purchase pricey holiday home decor, when it is so simple to make your own. This Easter Bunny Silhouette is a perfect example of an Easter home decor project that you can whip together in little time, for just a few dollars.

A few years ago I did this framed Easter Egg art project which I absolutely love, but I think it’s time to add something fresh to my Easter decor. This bunny silhouette made with washi tape is just perfect. I’m such a fanatic when it comes to crafting with washi tape.

I’m such a fanatic when it comes to washi tape. It has found it’s way into so many of my projects for Halloween, Christmas and Valentine’s Day. Somehow it hasn’t made an appearance for Easter… until now that is.

Easter Bunny Silhouette

Supplies:
8 x 10 frame
heavyweight white paper
assorted washi tape in traditional Easter colors and designs
free printable bunny silhouette
glue stick
scissors

How to Make:

Step 1.) Trim the paper to fit inside the 8 x 10 frame

Step 2.) Print the bunny silhouette and cut it out.

Step 3.) On the white piece of paper start at one end adding strips of washi tape across the paper until completely covered.

Step 4.) Apply glue to the back of the bunny silhouette and attach to center of paper.

Step 5.) Put your artwork in the frame and enjoy!
