FAQs
Colored sugar sprinkles don’t show up well on a frosting this dark, so I would stick with white or red or pink. That said, it’s supposed to be fun and something you can do with your kids. So if they want a color-clashing sprinkle, so be it!
Totally. Either put them in a toaster oven or a conventional one at 350 F on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 5-7 minutes or until the frosting melts slightly. This will make the filling nice and gooey and crisp up the graham crackers.
If you add chocolate, you are essentially making s’mores (which isn’t a bad thing!). It’s your call. If you do decide to add chocolate, go with a darker variety; it will balance out the sweetness of the frosting. You will also want to put these in the oven or toaster (see above question).
How To Store 3-Ingredient No-Bake Valentine’s Day Treats
Simply put them in an airtight container and store them in the fridge. As I said above, doing this for one night will soften them up a bit. If you would like to store them for longer, I wouldn’t keep them in the fridge for longer than 3 days. You could also freeze this treats, though the texture may be compromised when it comes time to take them out. And given they are such a cinch to make, I wouldn’t think you would need to make them so far in advance that freezing is required.
