Ordering a DoorDash takes longer than it does to make these melty, steaming-hot Bacon Cheeseburgers.

Do you know how long it takes me to order a burger? More than an hour. By the time I finish pondering whether I want the taste of a flame-broiled bacon cheeseburger or, say, a Frisco-style bacon cheeseburger and then figure out who’s got the best deal, whole hours of my life have passed by with nothing positive accomplished.
And if there are kids in the picture, forget it. It’s easier just cooking! Because trying to make three kids happy with one order from one restaurant, I mean, we’re talking—wow.
It’s eventually possible, but only after hours of exhaustive debate … and wait … and wait … and then, finally, YAY!! The order finally arrives, and everyone tears open the bag, only to find they’ve gotten the kids’—of all the things—orders wrong.
Avoid all that hoo-ha.
Heck, you can whip up a burger and fries and have everyone smiling, eating, and happy in the time it takes just to figure out your order and in just 25 minutes flat.

Why you will love making these Bacon Cheeseburgers at home
Cooking the bacon first in that pan leaves your pan coated in the quantum flavor only bacon can bring, enriching your burgers in yet another layer of savory flavor. In that bacon-greasy pan, these burgers get all dewy and delicious on the inside and all crisped up on the outside.
Then you add that cheddar cheese slice that gets all dotted with these beefy, bacony burger’s juices. By the time you pile that irresistible tumble of bacon atop, your family will be grabbing their chairs and sitting down.

How do I store leftovers?
The burger patties and bacon can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave or in a pan on the stovetop and serve in a fresh bun. To freeze, wrap individual burgers in plastic wrap and store in a zip-top freezer bag. They’ll stay good for up to 3 months. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight before reheating.

Serving suggestions
On really hungry nights, nothing complements the taste of a bacon cheeseburger better than Air-Fried Onion Rings. Why? Because you can pile them right on top of that burger, and they’ll taste so delicious. Of course, you can pile French fries on there, too. Or these Easy Potato Wedges. Then, there are nights when I love nothing more than a burger sauced with sharp, spicy, flowing Queso Cheese, which makes them one luscious kind of burger, if ya know what I’m saying.
