It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here. We decided to put up the trees and bring out the Christmas holiday decor a little early this year. Last winter I lost an artificial tree and some Christmas decorations to the ice storm that took out my shed. The loss was even worse over at my son’s house. Earlier this week my daughter-in-law was devastated to learn that so many of her treasured holiday keepsakes and pictures were damaged from that storm. I am thankful that our friends at CVS offered to partner with us for a holiday decor post.
From the cheerful wreath that hangs on the front door to the ornaments that hang on the tree, CVS provided just what we needed to get into the holiday spirit. Even some holiday snacks. Tree trimming works up quite an appetite for cookies.
Gold Emblem Select Milk Chocolate and Dark Chocolate Truffles, and Soft Baked Chocolate Chunk Cookies are a perfect holiday treat. Don’t you think?
As for trimming the tree, I love this combination of red, green and gold ornaments. I love all the glitter and sparkle of this season.
These 100 count sets of shatterproof ornaments from CVS are perfect for children. You don’t have to worry about anyone getting a boo-boo from a broken ornament. Plus, the value of this ornament set can’t be beat.
My mom and nieces were such a great help with decorating the tree.
An early Christmas gift arrived in a very large box. Seeing this enormous bear was quite a surprise.
My niece, Becca, has staked a claim on this gigantic plush Christmas bear. She loves stuffed animals. For now the bear sits by the fireplace keeping stay cozy and warm.
Under the tree now sits a singing and dancing Christmas Snoopy. I love all the little stuffed animals that sing Christmas carols to you. My grandchildren have quite a collection of them under the tree. They are so much fun, although they do seem to terrify the dogs.
All of these great holiday decor items, including this adorable Christmas caroling Snoopy, are available at your local CVS Pharmacy. Samples provided by CVS.

I’m definitely getting a tree this year! No really, I mean it…I think!
I love the ribbon on the tree instead of outdated garland! That’s pretty nice!
We were going to start decorating over the weekend but we had so much other stuff to do. We have a few weeks, so it will get done.
I love your tree! This is my favorite time of year! I can’t wait!
That tree looks beautiful!! I look forward to my kids being a bit older so we can decorate the tree more like I’d prefer. They love to help decorate and at their age they haven’t quite figured it out yet. 😛 Someday! 🙂
I love Christmas. We put our tree up November 1st lol. Your decorations look wonderful.
Got my Christmas decorations down from the attic this morning! My neighbor is putting up lights already but I am tryign to wait until Black Friday to put mine up!
