I think taking the time to beautifully wrap a gift makes gift giving much more special. After all, you’ve spent time and energy picking out the perfect gift, so it deserves the perfect gift wrap. But what if you just finished Christmas shopping for your entire family and there is a closet or trunk full of gifts that need to be wrapped? A beautifully wrapped doesn’t need to be expensive. All of the gifts you see in this post were wrapped with items found exclusively at Dollar Tree. I found everything I need to wrap beautiful packages, including: wrapping paper, ornaments, pics, ribbon, tags, and bows.
I said everything came from Dollar Tree, in case you thought you read that wrong. If you haven’t visited your neighborhood Dollar Tree or checked out DollarTree.com recently, you might want check out what they have for the holidays.
You’ll find a large selection of holiday wrapping paper, at a fraction of the price you pay in other stores. I taped some fun snowflakes to the package above. Dollar Tree had the snowflakes in a package of 6 for $1.
I love putting big beautiful bows on packages. They are simple to make. When matching your ribbon to wrapping paper, don’t worry about everything matching perfectly. Sometimes, it’s that little bit of contrast that makes it extra special.
Push a holiday floral pick into your bow for an extra special touch. Dollar Tree has beautiful Christmas floral pics 2/$1.
You can’t go wrong with gold or silver when choosing holiday gift wrap.
The gold flower above is actually an ornament that I picked up. I hot glued it into the center of a basic bow. I especially like to add small ornaments to packages.
A small string of battery operated LED lights was added to my snowman package above. I hid the battery pack by tucking it into a small stocking. This package is so beautiful when the lights are dimmed.
If you’re not one to make your own bows, no worries. Dollar Tree has a beautiful selection of ready made bows like the silver one I put on my granddaughter’s gift wrapped in Justin Bieber paper. She is head over heels for Justin, so she will probably be more excited over the gift wrap than the gift itself. I added a couple of candy ornaments to this package for some extra bling. Not that Justin Bieber needs any extra bling.
Are you ready to hop into the car and head to Dollar Tree now?

These are very creative gift wrapping ideas. Also, I didn’t know the Dollar Store sold wrapping paper etc. Thank you for this review it is very informative.
I mostly get my gift supplies from Dollar Tree, too. Their supplies are inexpensive and beautiful. Since I can’t wrap, I buy gift bags instead. I wish I could wrap gifts beautifully as you do, though. That’s really nice! 🙂
You are so good at that! Want to do mine???
What great ideas! We just had a Dollar Tree near our house that I haven’t had a chance to check out yet … I think I’ll have to head over and see what they have to offer! I love how the ornaments look on the gifts – what a nice touch.
You did an awesome job wrapping these! This year, I just wrapped them and didn’t add anything special. Next year, next year … I hope!
