What? You’ve never had the crackling-with-flavor experience of Crack Dip? And you call that living?

The twins and I are so happy we are singing as we eat our crack dip with about 20 various dippers.

“The wonderful thing about crack dip. Is crack dip’s a wonderful thing. It tastes great on Flaming Hot Cheetos. It makes blue cheese burgers just sing. It’s creamy chunky, cheesy, funky, fun, yum yum yum yum. And the most wonderful thing about crack dip is it’s the only one. Ohhhhhh it’s the only one!”

And this is the song that we, meaning Chloe, Zoe, and our standard poodle-dog Hobson, composed together as we made our crack dip for our pool party at this ritzy-schmitzy heavenly condo we are all staying at together with Todd and Jenna, their parents, in Royal Palm Springs.

They decided to take the nanny along, and I’m more than happy to play with Barbies and any and all nerd toys anyway.

Today, the twins and I decided we needed a snack to cheer up our blustery-day blues and decided to make ourselves a finger food extravaganza, while listening to the audiobook of the original Disney’s Winnie the Pooh and Tigger, Too!, which I highly recommend.

So, we made this wonderful crack dip together, which we scooped up afterward with everything from Buffalo Wings to Homemade Fish Sticks—and everything we dipped in this crack dip tasted AMAZING.

How Good Is Crack Dip? Let Me Count The Ways

Moms, just let me tell you, when you rake a Flaming Hot Cheeto, a Buffalo wing, or barbecued things, like these yummy BBQ Chicken Potato Skins through this bacony, oniony, cheesy, garlicky dip, you’ll soon see everything it touches becomes just crackling with deliciousness, too.

You know what else this crack dip is good on? Just let me count the ways ….

First, crack dip tastes swoon-worthy on just about any flavor of a buttery Ritz cracker. I’m especially partial to their new hot honey flavored ones with crack dip on them. I mean, serious YUMS.

Triscuits, especially their sun-dried tomato ones, taste sublime with this crack dip on them. But most of all … I love, adore, and have to dip these Baked Potato Wedges that just seem to soak up and complement that dip like CRAZY.

FAQs & Tips

How Do I Store Leftovers?

Crack dip, containing cream cheese, makes it a no-no for freezing but a yes-yes for eating up right now! However, you can refrigerate it in an airtight container for 2-3 days. But this will go fast because you’ll find, much like Nutella, but savory, this tastes good on EVERYTHING!!!!

Add-Ins That Make Crack Dip Even More Epic

Well, of course! You can get all cheese-ball inspired and stir in some chopped nuts, like walnuts and, for the adults, a drizzle of port wine. Sharp, pungent cheeses like Brie and Camembert really taste good diced finely or shredded into these dips, too. Or for an even more succulent and nutritious dip, try stirring in oily sun-dried tomatoes. They will really complement all the flavors here, and they bring major vitamin A to the table.

Can This Crack Dip Be Made Vegan?

It’s getting easier to make just about any dish vegan today with all the delicious choices we have for vegan bacon, cheese, and even dairy options. For the most flavorful vegan-brand swaps here, I recommend: Fresh Gourmet Bacon-Less Bits, Hellman’s Vegan Mayonnaise, Kite Hill’s vegan cream cheese and sour cream, and Violife’s Just Like Cheddar Shreds.

Serving Suggestions

Crack dip is always the biggest dip hit at my party, so I make a quadruple portion for big crowds, because you can put all kinds of affordable and tasty dippers around it. First, I’d suggest some of these Savory Little Goat Cheese Toasts that just demand some of this bacony, oniony dip upon them … Other must-haves with crack dip are these festive Multi-Colored Nacho Chips that kids go cuckoo for. But what I MOST LOVE THEM ON are these Crispy Little Homemade Crackers. Oh my gosh, they are so good dunked in this dip.
