Cute Diaper Bags from BabyMel: Amanda Quilted Review

One thing I learned during my first flight overseas with my toddler was that you can never have a big enough diaper bag. No matter how well you prepare and pack, you’re always going to need more room for unexpected surprises– dirty clothing, extra snacks, etc. BabyMel offers a variety of cute diaper bags that are great options for on-the-go moms. The Amanda Quilted diaper bag from BabyMel is a stylish and spacious diaper bag that I’ve come to love these past few weeks.

Cute Diaper Bags

The Amanda Quilted diaper bag is generously sized and comes in four colors: Pewter, Black, Moss, and Navy. I chose the Navy color because I loved the strong contrast between the gold lining and heart pattern against the navy base color. It offers a stylish touch of color that I really appreciate. The diaper bag is lightweight, durable, and I can tell it’s made from great quality just from the way it feels.

The Amanda Quilted diaper bag has outer pockets on both sides, one side features a large outer pocket and the other side features two outer pockets. There is also one insulated zipped bottle pocket on the outside of the bag, that is almost camouflaged, which I like. I use the the two smaller outer pockets to store my keys and cell phone for easy access, as well as a few toys or a book for Zach. In the larger outer pocket, I like to put Zach’s snacks so they don’t get crushed inside with other accessories. If we will be out for a long time, I’ll pack a lunch for him and keep it in that larger pocket. It’s very roomy.

The inside of the Amanda Quilted diaper bag features a wipe-clean lining and 5 elasticated pockets. I use these pockets to store Zach’s pull-ups, baby wipes, bottle nipple, medicine he might need, diaper rash ointment, wet ones, boogie wipes, anything small that he might need can easily be stored away in these internal pockets. The bottom of the diaper bag is where I keep a change of clothes for him in case he has any accidents.

There is also an internal zip closured pocket where I like to keep my valuable items like my car keys, cell phone, money, and the occasional lip balm. I like the inside zippered pocket because it gives me room to put items I would normally put in my purse. I don’t like to wear a purse and diaper bag, so being able to combined items in the diaper bag makes it more convenient for me as a parent. The Amanda Quilted diaper bag also includes a changing mat that features a velcro closure that allows the mat to be easily folded in place and fits inside the internal pocket perfectly.

The strap is very wide and allows the diaper bag to sit on my shoulders very comfortably. The strap is easily adjustable to your desired length. Whether you want the strap to be short enough to wear on your shoulder or long enough to cross your body, that can easily be adjusted. There is also an option that makes it easier for parents to attach the Amanda Quilted diaper bag to any stroller. This comes in handy when I’m at the mall with Zach and would like the diaper bag to hang on the stroller handles for a more convenient shopping experience.

I was able to fit all of these items in my BabyMel Amanda Quilted Diaper Bag and there was STILL so much more room! I included Zach’s pull-ups, wipes, 3 sets of clothing, the included changing mat, snacks, his sippy cup, a stuffed toy, my loaded makeup bag, planner, keys, phone, and lip balm. If I were going out for a longer period of time like a couple of days when traveling, I would totally take my Amanda Quilted diaper bag with me. It allows me to store Zach’s essentials and my personal belongings with lots of room to spare. I love it!
