Are you growing weary yet from the hustle and bustle of the holiday season? Spreading holiday cheer doesn’t mean you have to spend hours laboring in the kitchen.

Try whipping up a batch of this easy holiday biscotti. As my life has become busier with things like cheer practice and music lessons, I’ve begun using more of a semi-homemade approach to my holiday baking and homemade gifts. The result has been fabulous! I’m able to keep my sanity and still treat my friends and family to delicious holiday treats like Deck the Halls Biscotti. This festive holiday biscotti recipe uses some of my favorite things: DOVE® Dark Chocolate and M&M’S®… I know I have your attention now!
Ingredients:
- 1 3/4 cups DOVE® Brand Milk or Dark Chocolate (DOVE® 71% Cacao Dark Chocolate Bar and/or DOVE® PROMISES® Silky Smooth Dark Chocolate)
- 16 of your favorite biscotti
- ¾ cup M&M’S® Brand Chocolate Candies (I used the holiday blend)
- 2 baking sheets
- Reynolds® Parchment Paper
Instructions:
Step 1: To get started, melt the DOVE® chocolate in a bowl set over a saucepan of simmering water. Stir until chocolate is 3/4 melted. Remove from water and continue stirring until all the chocolate has melted.
Step 2: Here’s where it gets fun… Using a table knife, spread half the biscotti with the DOVE® Brand Milk or Dark Chocolate and set it on the baking sheet lined with Reynolds® Parchment Paper. The kids and I couldn’t decide which side of the biscotti we wanted to spread the chocolate over, so we each did it a different way. They still came out pretty cute!
Step 3: Sprinkle with M&M’S® Brand Chocolate Candies and set aside until the chocolate hardens. Easy peasy! It took a couple of hours for the chocolate on my biscotti to harden completely.
Step 4: For a gift: Wrap 2 to 4 of these festive holiday biscotti in a piece of cellophane, and tie it closed with a piece of curling ribbon. We bagged a few of ours up for a friend and kept the rest to munch on with our hot chocolate.

This is a such a simple and fun recipe. I never thought of fancying up biscotti before either. Just dunked them in hot cocoa and chowed down.
