I had a very rough time sticking to my diet over the holidays. For about 2 weeks I was surrounded by fresh baked cookies, decadent desserts, my favorite holiday candies, alcohol, and fabulous meals. I wish I could tell you that I resisted temptation completely and stuck to my Nutrisystem meal plan, but the truth is that I was weak. I didn’t totally abandon my diet, but there were a lot of cheats.
I totally admire people who can stick to their diets and healthy lifestyle. This is something that I have struggled with for many years. Nutrisystem has provided me with an easy and delicious way to lose weight, so I am feeling pretty guilty for not sticking with it.
My week 6 results are late, since I have been putting off sharing this post with you. I have gained back 3.5 of my 7 pounds lost during weeks 1 – 5. That’s half of my previous weight loss! I am sure some of this weight gain can be attributed to my bad habits during week 5 also.
Here are my thoughts…
I am not giving up.
I know that Nutrisystem does work.
I will no longer beat myself up over this.
It’s a New Year and a New Me!
