I do have a couple of favorite chicken recipes that I seem to go to again and again. Recipes like Chicken Enchiladas in White Sauce and this oh-so comforting Chicken Noodle Casserole. Even with these favorites, I am always looking for new ways to prepare chicken and this recipe is a winner. You can even make this in your slow cooker. It doesn’t get much simpler than that.

Easy Pulled Chicken in Red Sauce

Ingredients:
2 large chicken breasts or four smaller ones
1 jar of your favorite red sauce, I prefer tomato basil, any quality sauce will work nicely though.
1 cup of organic flavorful tomatoes
4-8 fresh basil leaves
2-4 fresh garlic cloves
Himalayan salt or sea salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Using the lowest setting on your stove (or slow cooker), pour the tomato sauce in and start to heat.

Trim the chicken breasts and add into the sauce.

Wash and chop the tomatoes, basil and garlic cloves, then add to the pot.
