It’s grilling season y’all! One of my goals for this spring and summer is to get more creative on the grill, so I’ll be serving up a lot more than just hamburgers and hot dogs. Although, I do like hamburgers and hot dogs a lot.

Grilled Honey Soy Glazed Pork Tenderloin, sliced and served on a white plate.

This Asian inspired pork tenderloin is sure to impress your family and friends. It’s oh-so simple to prepare with just few ingredients. I know you’re going to love that. It’s delicious too. You simply can’t go wrong with a honey, soy and ginger flavor combo. Yum!

I’m getting ready to head to Phoenix for the Mom 2.0 Conference where I’ll get to sit down and interview Molly Ringwald. How cool is that?! I wanted to share this recipe with you real quick before I leave. I hope you enjoy!

1 pork tenderloin – serves 4

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless pork tenderloin, trimmed of fat
  • 1 inch knob fresh ginger, peeled and grated
  • 3 TBS honey (or agave)
  • 1 TBS low sodium soy sauce

Directions

Step 1: Heat grill over medium heat. In a small bowl, mix ginger, honey, and soy sauce until combined. Place pork in a shallow dish and baste with honey mixture.

Step 2: Brush oil onto grill, then place pork tenderloin onto grill; brush additional honey mixture onto pork, close grill and cook for 6 minutes. Brush with honey mixture again, flip pork over, brush top with honey mixture. Close grill and cook for 6-8 more minutes, or until center of pork reads 145 degrees on a meat thermometer.

Step 3: Place on cutting board and let rest for 15 minutes. Slice into 1 inch pieces and serve immediately.

Notes: Pork can also made in a skillet if you do not have a grill available- cook over medium heat, on each side 7-8 minutes each. Check with meat thermometer for doneness.
